The Distinguished Alumni Awards are presented to alumni of UFV who have achieved outstanding distinction in career, educational achievement, and community service. This non-monetary award will recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of exceptional UFV alumni. We now offer a second award, the Young Distinguished Alumni Award.

Nominators may be UFV employees, students, alumni, board members, or members of the community. Recipients of the distinguished alumni award normally must agree to attend the awards ceremonies to receive the award.
Nominees shall not be individuals who have direct political, legal, or budgetary authority over UFV.
