Commemorative Giving

The end of a life can be the most challenging time for anyone. UFV can offer you the chance to celebrate a loved one lost too soon, a life of achievement, or a colleague no longer with us. We can help make the process straightforward and give you a meaningful way of honouring someone.

Commemorative giving does not always mean someone has passed away. Many people take advantage of this form of giving to pay tribute while a person is still alive and able to appreciate the sentiment. Also keep in mind that a commemorative gift allows others to express themselves and ensures that the honoured are remembered for years to come.

A commemorative gift can take several forms at UFV. Scholarship or bursaries create a legacy that assists current students. A naming opportunity at any of our three campuses provides for a more tangible presence. Funds collected would go towards programming in the chosen area. The University Advancement Office can help you identify the best way to honour that special person.

Call 604-854-4595 or e-mail giving@ufv.ca for more information about commemorative giving to UFV.
